Yesterday Meditation Australia Board members were honoured to be invited to the offical launch of the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies.

Established through a philanthropic grant, the centre will bring together experts in philosophy, humanities, neuroscience, medicine, psychology, education, and both secular and interfaith dialogue.

“The centre aims to help provide better, maybe wiser solutions to the many problems that confront us as individuals and communities, and the planet as a whole.”

It was inspiring to hear the passion and commitment to these goals, and we look forward with great anticipation to the future benefits in so many arenas. And we look forward to working with the centre as we all share the same aspiration of meditation as an integral part of life!
Meditation Australia Patron Professor Craig Hassed is Director of Education for M3CS, along with Professor Jakob Hohwy – Centre Director and Director of Research, and Professor Rebecca Margolis – Director of Community Engagement.
